The Process of Working With Us

STEP 1

Short Interview

Please reach out to us by filling out the form on our website and tell us about your project. We will review your project to make sure it’s a good fit for both of us. After that, we will call you back to schedule an appointment where we will talk about your project in more details.

STEP 2

Complimentary Onsite Meeting

These meetings typically last between one to one and a half hours, depending on the size of your project. Our appointments are scheduled during regular business hours Monday-Saturday 7:30am – 5:00pm.

STEP 3

What Happens at the Complimentary Meeting?

We will start the discussion with why you want to remodel, your expectations for the project as well as review your vision for the spaces you want remodeled. Then we will talk about schedule availability and completion requirements for both you and us.

After that, we will talk about the investment you are comfortable putting into your home (It’s a good idea to talk about the budget before our meeting) since the most people don’t know what remodeling costs. It’s clear to us that everyone has a budget number that they are willing to spend. Being honest about your budget allows us to assist you in staying within it.

We will gladly answer any questions you may have about the project or the processes of our company. We’ll examine a ballpark figure determined from our early conversation. This broad brush number is intended to determine whether this is the direction you want to follow. When you are ready to go, we will advance to the next stage.

STEP 4

Project Retainer to Bildco inc. For Your Comprehensive Project Evaluation

Your retainer goes toward the following;

  • Securing a tentative production schedule (final schedule is determined after all the tasks below have been completed)
  • Design schedule to assist in keeping everyone on track for the production schedule.
  • Drawing/Designing as required for your specific project.
  • Clearly define the scope of your project.
  • If necessary, assist you with material selection.
  • Site visits and estimates from subcontractors based on your actual scope of work.
  • Cost estimate for your project under a fixed-price contract. Contract is presented as a lump sum with a detailed scope of work.
  • The project retainer is credited toward the project contract price when you sign our contract within 30 days of presentation. (Excluding architectural and engineering fees)
After completing all of the steps mentioned above, we can move on to getting the permissions and construction phases of the project.

Northport is a historic maritime community located on Long Island’s northern shore in Suffolk County, New York. Originally called Great Cow Harbour by English colonists in the 17th century, the area was formally renamed Northport in 1837. In 1894, the community formed as a village in an effort to localize governance. Northport is well-known for its Victorian-era village center, which has trolley rails from a long discontinued streetcar line that connected village residents to the East Northport Long Island Rail Road station. The village’s Main Street runs from the Village Green along the harborfront to the formerly independent hamlet of Vernon Valley, which has since been subsumed by nearby East Northport. The village had an estimated population of 7,401 residents in 2010 and is served by the Northport-East Northport School District.
