“In the past ( about 4 yrs ago ) had him build us a propane fireplace with a custom surround in Marble.Excellent work, 100% job. Since his quality of work was so good, I had Mike Welsch/Buildco back to redo one of our bathrooms and house re-siding. Tho there were a couple of delays of scheduling ( not due to him, but the shipping of materials ) both jobs were fully completed in a timely matter of a month. As stated by my wife; ( and I agree 100% ) “We are the original homeowners and after 39 years have had several contractors here. Mike Welsch, Bildco, has done four projects here, large and small. I will plainly tell anyone he is the ONLY contractor I will ever have here again. “Mike Welsch is a true craftsman and professional! He came highly recommended by a friend and my Mom hired him to fully gut and remodel her condo. His workmanship is impeccable and he is great to work with! He listens to what you need and want and is always available to answer questions. He is very picky about his work and even repainted my mother’s ceiling multiple times until it came out to his satisfaction, even though she thought it looked fine the first time! The best thing about Mike and Bildco is that he answers questions and any unforeseen issues AFTER the work is done, unlike other contractors who disappear! We were so happy with him that my fiancée and I hired him to fix water damage, install a sliding door and completely tear out and install new flooring in our house, including repairing walls and painting! He responded promptly, showed up on time for a estimate, although his estimate was a bit hire then we expected, his points & expertise was valid. We were a bit apprehensive about a pre construction consultant agreement, but now going through the process we understand the value in the planning, scheduling & budgeting phase of the project.
